Router Conditional Approvals

PSHSB announces that two routers received Department of War Conditional Approval and therefore are exempt from the FCC Covered List.

What it does The Public Notice updates the Covered List and the associated Conditional Approvals appendix to exclude Gryphon Safety Online, Inc.’s Parental Control WiFi Router and Sercomm Corporation’s Air4992 Wi-Fi 7 Router. PSHSB finds that each approval is a “specific determination” that the device does not pose risks to U.S. national security, and says the Commission is required to update the list accordingly. The notice also republishes the broader Covered List and identifies the devices’ approval periods.
